NOTICES AFFECTING QUONOCHONTAUG BEACH CONSERVATION AREA
Parking Along the Sand Trail
The property on each side of the sand trail is privately owned and parking along the sand trail is prohibited by its members/landowners (as stated in QBCC regulations) and is a violation of CRMC Beach Vehicle Regulations. We ask that if you see a vehicle parked along the sand trail or travelling the beach face, please document with photos, report date, time, description, license plate, and the location of the vehicle and send information through our website contact page. We will continue work on education, and with the local authorities for assistance with private property management/enforcement.

QBCC BEACH CLEANUP
In cooperation with Weekapaug Green, QBCC will be holding its annual spring cleanup Easter weekend, Saturday morning at 9 AM. We ask the barrier beach private property owners to assist in cleaning up trash along the sand trail, parking lots, access paths, and beach. We place a dumpster in the Weekapaug Yacht Club parking lot (Northeast corner) for this cleanup. Meet at the Weekapaug Yacht Club parking lot, dress accordingly to avoid prickers and poison Ivy, wear gloves, and bring any tools that might assist in picking up debris. Please come out and help keep this amazing natural resource pristine!
A special thanks to Ed Parsells and Linda Griffin for managing this.
